The ExCEL Department at CCA ensures that excellence is a commitment to every learner, specifically those with needs beyond the classroom. The ExCEL department includes ESE, Intervention, Tutoring, Assessment and Evaluation, and Counseling.
Our ESE program serves students with mild to moderate learning differences. Students with a variety of exceptionalities are accepted on a case-by-case basis. To be considered for the ESE program, a copy of a current IEP and/or 504 Plan or a professional evaluation must be submitted with your application to CCA. As we continue to grow, additional programs for gifted students will be offered. Intervention and Tutoring are available for all CCA students needing additional academic support. Our counseling department includes biblical guidance as well as divorce care and grief share small groups for students with these life experiences.
