At Calvary Christian Academy, partnership isn’t limited to parents and students; it extends into every classroom, every lesson, and every educator who feels called to invest in the next generation. In this Partnered for a Purpose video, we hear from CCA Technology Teacher Jared Stewart, whose story highlights how a strong staff culture and a shared mission directly shape the student experience.
“One thing I noticed right away is how open the staff culture is,” Jared shares. “Everyone really values each other’s opinions.”
That spirit of collaboration creates an environment where teachers feel supported, heard, and empowered to do their best work. And when educators thrive, students benefit. At CCA, that culture isn’t just about teamwork; it’s about alignment around a greater purpose.
For Jared, that purpose comes to life in the classroom.
“It’s really neat to teach the things kids need to learn,” he explains, “but also to show them how to leverage technology for the Kingdom.”
In a world where technology is constantly evolving, CCA is intentional about preparing students not just to use digital tools, but to use them wisely. Jared helps students build practical skills in computer science and technology, while also guiding them to think critically about how those skills can be used to influence others and reflect their faith.
It’s a balance that defines the CCA approach: equipping students for the future while anchoring them in a biblical worldview.
But Jared’s story also reflects how CCA recognizes and responds to the calling.
When he began considering a move from part-time to full-time, Jared reached out to one of the school’s principals. What he didn’t know was that the headmaster had already initiated that very conversation, sensing that Jared had more to contribute.
“The answer was yes before I even asked,” he recalls.
Moments like that are more than coincidence. They’re a reflection of a leadership team that listens well, values its people, and seeks God’s direction in its decisions. For Jared, that experience has shaped the way he approaches his role and invests in his students each day.
“I’m really, really grateful to be here,” he says. “This is the story I get to tell of God’s faithfulness and goodness using His people.”
That gratitude is evident in his teaching, his relationships, and his commitment to Calvary Christian Academy’s mission.
Because when educators are supported and called, students are equipped with purpose.
At CCA, that’s what partnership looks like: a community working together to prepare students to use their gifts, their skills, and even technology itself, for God’s glory.
