About CCA

Immersing all students in a Biblical Worldview.

A word from our Head of School

Calvary Christian Academy began as a dream, became a calling, and, by God’s kindness, has proven to be an answered prayer. Today, CCA is a vibrant ministry of Calvary PSL. We are not an independent institution with a generic mission. We are an extension of a church family that believes Jesus still changes lives and that discipleship must be intentional, faithful, and rooted in Scripture.

CCA is a covenant Christian school that partners with like-minded parents in the development of their children. Our aim is not only academic growth, but spiritual formation and character development under a Biblical worldview. Students are encouraged to think deeply, lead faithfully, and serve boldly, preparing them to engage the world with conviction, compassion, and wisdom.

Our educators and staff are born-again believers, caring and credentialed, committed to excellence and to the daily work of shepherding hearts as well as training minds. Our facility is state-of-the-art, and our learning environments are designed to be safe, structured, and encouraging. The CCA community reaches beyond our parent ministry, serving families throughout our region while remaining anchored to the local church that birthed it.

Calvary PSL seeks to make disciples of Jesus Christ as found in the Great Commission:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. – Matthew 28:19-20a, ESV

Our church is committed to the principles of connecting, growing, and investing. Calvary Christian Academy, as a ministry of Calvary PSL, has been formed and dedicated to those principles. Because our school offers an excellent education within a Biblical worldview, we can confidently say that our mission is to teach students to be like Jesus as we develop tomorrow’s leaders for Christ.

At Calvary Christian Academy, we believe that shaping a student’s intellect is only part of the story—true education also forms the heart. In partnership with families, we build both disciples and scholars: students who are confident in their faith, competent in their knowledge, and committed to serving others

Developing the Next Generation of Leaders for Christ.

Calvary Christian Academy was conceived to create a new type of school community on the Treasure Coast.

While our mission is to provide an excellent education within a Biblical worldview, what that actually looks like is a synthesis between the science of educating the whole student and a framework that is Biblical and Christ-centered. CCA is a covenant, Christ-centered, college preparatory, private Christian school which educates students in an atmosphere of strong academics, quality sports, fine arts, and spiritual accountability in a traditional preschool through twelfth-grade setting, Monday through Friday.

Our History

Leaders of Calvary Port Saint Lucie decided not long after the church was formed in 2004 that God wanted them to step out in faith and begin praying and planning for a school that would be Christ-centered and would offer families with diverse learners an opportunity to be educated according to their unique learning styles by degreed and credentialed educators trained to teach children and inspire learners at different levels of achievement. Calvary Christian Academy is a traditional school that treats learners uniquely and includes parents as partners in the learning process.

Standards of Ethical Conduct

All employees of Calvary Christian Academy (”CCA”) will adhere to Standards of Ethical Conduct. CCA values the worth and dignity of every person, the pursuit of Biblical truth, devotion to excellence, acquisition of knowledge, and the nurture of democratic citizenship. Essential to the achievement of these standards are the freedom to learn and to teach and the guarantee of equal opportunity for all.

Our primary concern is our students and the development of the students’ potential. Employees will therefore strive for professional growth and will seek to exercise the best professional judgment and integrity.
