A New Chapter Begins: CCA PSL High School Opens in January

This January marks a major milestone for Calvary Christian Academy. The opening of our new high school is more than the addition of a building; it’s the beginning of a new chapter in the life of our school; one that both current and new CCA families will help write.

For those already part of the CCA family, this moment represents growth and continuity. It means our students get to continue their journey in a Christ-centered environment through graduation. For those exploring CCA for the first time, it’s an invitation to step into a school community at a defining moment.

More Than a Building

While the opening of the new high school facility is exciting, what matters most is what will happen inside it. Our high school is being built with purpose: to develop students who are grounded in their faith, equipped academically, and prepared to lead with character and conviction.

Every space within the building has been intentionally designed to support both excellence and formation. These environments will enable CCA students to discover their gifts, pursue excellence, and grow in community:

  • Science Lab – A hands-on discovery hub where curiosity turns into experiments and ideas come to life, encouraging real-world exploration and collaboration.
  • LEAP Program Room (Gifted Program) – A dynamic think tank where advanced learners can explore deeper, ask bigger questions, and develop creative solutions with confidence.
  • Art Room – A vibrant studio where students can express their God-given creativity through hands-on exploration of color, texture, and design.
  • Black Box Theater – A flexible, intimate performance space where students can develop confidence, bring stories to life, and grow in the performing arts.
  • Dual Enrollment Lounge – A college-style environment designed for focus and independence, giving students space to study, collaborate, and prepare for the next level.
  • Gymnasium – A game-changing addition that creates a true home for athletics, training, school events, and community—bringing energy and school spirit under one roof.

A Defining Moment for Our Community

The opening of the high school is a defining moment not only for new students, but for our entire school family. Current families have the opportunity to continue building on the strong foundation already established at CCA, while helping shape what the high school experience will become. At the same time, new families are invited to be a part of something meaningful from the very beginning.

Legacy Building Classes

The students who step into CCA high school this January will be part of the founding classes. This inaugural group will help define the traditions, culture, and student experience at CCA for years to come.

As part of these founding classes, students will:

  • Help establish the culture and traditions of the high school
  • Step into early leadership opportunities across academics, athletics, arts, and student life
  • Build a close-knit, Christ-centered community from the ground up
  • Grow in their faith during some of their most formative years
  • Leave a lasting legacy that will impact future generations of students

As we look ahead, there is a renewed sense of excitement, anticipation, and purpose. God is clearly at work in this next season at CCA, and we are eager to engage with the families who will be part of it. Whether your family has been with us for years or is just beginning to explore what CCA has to offer, this is an invitation to be part of something bigger.

We look forward to welcoming our first high school students in the fall and to the legacy they will begin.
