Finding Community, Confidence, and Christ-Centered Education: A CCA Parent’s Perspective with Jordan Turner

Choosing the right school is one of the most meaningful decisions a parent makes. For many families, it’s not just about academics, it’s about finding a place where their children will grow in character, confidence, and faith. In our ongoing parent interview series, Partnering with Families, we highlight the experiences of a variety of CCA families.

This week, we’re grateful to share the story of Jordan Turner, a CCA mom whose journey reflects what so many parents hope for when they choose a Christian education. From the very first moment, Jordan and her family felt reassured about their decision. “Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better program and school for our children to be in,” she shares. They had prayed for a school that would nurture their kids academically, spiritually, and personally.

When exploring private school options, the Turners knew they wanted more than strong academics. They were specifically seeking a biblically based education that would challenge their children while encouraging them to write God’s Word on their hearts each day. At CCA, Jordan says, “That’s what we found here… a community of support.”

That support extends far beyond the classroom. In the video, Jordan describes a network of teachers, staff, and fellow parents who share a genuine love for each child who walks through CCA’s doors. For her family, this community has made all the difference. Other parents have become friends and partners in discipleship—people who value her children, pray for them, and seek to model Christlike character in their own homes.

Jordan also highlights how CCA helps families feel connected rather than isolated. From Moms in Prayer groups to informal coffee meetups, there are countless opportunities for parents to build relationships and stay engaged in school life. “There are so many ways to get involved that you don’t feel lonely,” she says. “You get to feel the involvement as well here at Calvary.”

For many families like the Turners, Calvary Christian Academy is more than a school. It’s a place where faith and learning grow together; parents find encouragement, and where children are known, loved, challenged, and supported. Most importantly, it’s a place where Christ remains at the center of it all.

We encourage you to share this video series with any friends or family members who are searching for a school community that feels like home. At CCA, you’ll find a partnership based on prayer, purpose, and a shared commitment to developing the next generation of Christ-centered leaders.
