CCA Student Life

Creating Experiences for Students to Develop Their Talents and Gifts.

Student life at Calvary Christian Academy is vibrant, engaging, and designed to help every child thrive—from our youngest Panthers in PK1 through our 12th-grade seniors. With a close-knit community of approximately 615 students, our campus is alive with creativity, energy, and purpose. Students are challenged and supported academically through specialized programs like LEAP for gifted learners and ExCEL for exceptional student education (ESE), while also exploring their God-given talents through more than 20 clubs, including Spanish, Minecraft, ballet, and more. Our award-winning athletics program has already earned multiple championships, an impressive achievement for a young school, and our performing arts program shines each year with a dynamic spring production that brings our community together.

Community, Connection, & Purpose

Life at CCA is rooted in community, connection, and purpose. Families come together through events like Partnered for a Purpose and Panther Family Nights, while students engage in local outreach projects that put faith into action. Older students participate in Spiritual Formation Retreats, offering intentional time to grow in faith, character, and leadership.

As a covenant private school, we are committed to Shaping Students to Think Deeply, Lead Faithfully, and Serve Boldly, guiding students academically, socially, and spiritually. Leadership opportunities flourish through student council, National Honor Society, and our RCA (Ron Clark Academy) House System, where house leaders and representatives promote teamwork, healthy competition, and lasting friendships. Students enjoy multiple field trips throughout the year, and high schoolers look forward to cherished traditions such as spirit week and prom.

CCA Houses

At CCA, the House System provides every student a place to belong and lead. Each child is placed into one of four houses—Altruismo (Givers), Amistad (Friendship), Isibindi (Courage), or Rêveur (Dreamers)—each with its own language, symbol, Bible hero, and key verse. Through regular House and Mentor Group time, service projects, and friendly competition, students build lasting relationships, grow in their faith, and develop the character of servant-leaders who partner with their friends and families to impact the world for Christ.

Altruismo is a servant-leadership group inspired by Moses, balancing bold strength with selfless giving as they surrender to God’s will and empower others to stay strong in faith and service.
Amistad is a diverse, creative, and compassionate group focused on building sacrificial, Christ-centered friendships—modeled after Jonathan and David—that nurture others and draw people closer to God.
Isibindi is a close-knit group inspired by Esther, marked by quiet, strategic courage rooted in unwavering faith, dedicated to empowering new members and encouraging one another to listen to God’s voice and lead with strength and wisdom.
Reveur the House of Dreamers is a group of bold, God-focused idealists inspired by Daniel, committed to obeying God’s word as they encourage one another to dream big and fulfill His vision in their school and community.

CCA Discipleship

Calvary Christian Academy exists to encourage students in their relationship with Christ and equip them to follow the Lord’s commission in Matthew 28:19 to “Go and make disciples of all nations.”

Discipleship empowers spiritual formation by modeling, instructing, guiding, and nurturing others to develop a deep, personal relationship with Jesus through your own speech, actions, and attitudes.

CCA Service

Outreach opportunities are designed to help students learn the gift of service and empower them to put their faith into action. Students take part in these opportunities through their small group, Bible class, and Leadership Training class. It is always exciting to see the blessing they experience when they get out of their comfort zone and help someone in Jesus’ name! Examples of particular outreach activities might include volunteering at shelters, evangelism trips, serving and feeding the poor, drives for local/international ministries, etc.
