Admissions and enrollment

Families can apply online through our admissions portal. Once your application is submitted, our Admissions team will contact you to walk through the next steps.

Applications are accepted year-round. Because space is limited, we encourage families to apply as early as possible. Enrollment for the upcoming school year typically opens in early February.

Yes. We offer regular campus tours throughout the year. To join a tour, please submit an inquiry form and our team will connect with you.

Students will need a birth certificate, immunization records, and any academic records from previous schools. Additional documents may be requested based on grade level or student needs.

Yes. A small application fee is required to process your child’s file.

No. While we are a Christ-centered school committed to Biblical truth, families do not have to be members of Calvary PSL or any church to apply.

Students entering kindergarten must turn five by the state-required cut-off date for Florida.

Yes, space permitting. Our Admissions team will review your student’s records and coordinate placement.

If a grade is full, students are placed in a wait pool. Families must reapply each year because the wait pool does not roll over.

Class sizes vary by grade level, but we intentionally keep our ratios small to ensure personal attention and strong relationships.

We accept Step Up for Students scholarships, including Florida Tax Credit, FES-EO, FES-UA, Hope, and Folds of Honor.

Step Up for Students determines eligibility. Families apply through the Step Up portal and will receive notification directly from the state.

Acceptance is determined on an individual basis. We review all documentation, including IEPs, 504 plans, and private educational evaluations, to ensure we are able to fully support each student’s needs.

Yes. Secondary students have access to honors courses, AP classes, and dual enrollment partnerships for advanced academic pathways.

Elementary and secondary students receive quarterly report cards. Progress updates are available through our online portal.

We use nationally normed assessments, including the i-Ready Diagnostic administered three times a year, to track academic growth and guide instructional decisions.

Support varies by student need. Our team reviews documentation and communicates with families to determine the best plan for success.

Biblical truth is woven into every subject through discussion, application, and character formation.

School Hours and Attendance

Elementary runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Secondary runs from 8:10 AM to 3:10 PM.

Yes. Morning care begins at 6:45 AM, and aftercare runs until 5:30 PM for an additional fee.

Please call the school office to notify us of any absences.

Parents must sign students in or out through the main office. A reason for late arrival or early dismissal is required.

All parents and visitors must check in through our secure entry system before picking up or dropping off students during school hours.

Uniforms and Dress Code

Uniforms are purchased online through our provider, ShockSocks, at www.shocksocks.com.

Yes. Full uniforms are required Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted.

Yes. Students may wear their Spirit Shirt on Fridays with approved attire.

Expectations vary by grade level and are outlined in our School Handbook.

Lunch and Transportation

Hot lunch can be purchased through Ordo. Orders must be placed by the Friday prior to each week.

Yes. Students may bring lunch from home.

We do not provide regular bus routes. School buses are used for field trips and school events.

Parents will receive permission forms and details in advance of each trip.

Safety and Security

Our campus has armed professional security, controlled entry points, regular safety drills, and trained staff.

Yes. All employees undergo background screening and training before working with students.

We follow a detailed emergency operations plan that includes lockdown, weather, medical, and evacuation procedures.

All guests must present identification, sign in through our secure system, and wear a visitor badge on campus.

Parent Communication

We communicate through ParentSquare, email updates, weekly newsletters, and social media.

Teachers can be contacted through ParentSquare or email. Conferences can be scheduled as needed.

Families use our online portal to view grades, assignments, and classroom updates

We schedule conferences during the year and meet with parents anytime a concern or question arises.

Student Life and Activities

We offer athletics, fine arts, clubs, and leadership opportunities for all grade levels.

Students can participate in drama, visual arts, and seasonal productions. Choir and Band coming in 2026-27.

Yes. Students participate in service projects, chapels, and leadership programs.

Yes. Chapel and Bible classes are part of our core spiritual formation program.

Technology use is monitored to ensure safety and responsibility. Policies vary by grade.

Secondary students may bring phones but must follow school guidelines. Elementary students should not have phones during the day.

Financial and Tuition

Tuition varies by grade level. Current tuition rates are available on our tuition page..

There may be activity fees, athletic fees, or class-specific fees depending on the program.

Yes. Monthly payment plans are available.

Scholarship amounts are applied once confirmed by Step Up for Students.

A sibling discount is applied beginning with the 3rd child enrolled in grades K-12

health and wellness

Students must follow Florida’s CDC-based immunization schedule and have both a current Florida Certificate of Immunization (Form DH680) and a Florida Student Health Examination (Form DH3040) on file to remain enrolled.

Families may enroll with an approved exemption, which can be a Temporary Medical Exemption or Permanent Medical Exemption documented on Form DH680, or a Religious Exemption issued by the Florida Department of Health on Form DH681.

Yes. The school has a clinic that is staffed by a licensed Registered Nurse.

Medications are only given at school with a physician-signed Annual Authorization to Dispense Medication form, and all medication must be brought in by a parent in its original labeled container. Students may not carry medication themselves (except approved emergency medication like inhalers or EpiPens).

Children should stay home if they’ve had a fever of 100.4°F or higher or other symptoms like coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, or a rash within the past 24 hours, and they may return once symptoms have resolved; if they were seen by a doctor, a note stating when they may return is requested.

If a student is injured on campus, the nurse will assess the injury, call parents for any urgent concerns, and send a Medical Event Notice by email with details of the visit.

Miscellaneous

Re-enrollment opens each winter for current families. Early re-enrollment helps secure your child’s spot.

Our calendar aligns closely with the local district while honoring Christian holidays and special events.

We follow local emergency management guidance and will notify families through ParentSquare.

Lost items are placed in our Lost and Found area. Unclaimed items are donated periodically.

Yes. All volunteers must complete a background check and follow school guidelines.
