Matthew Wiggins, Ed.S.
Head of School
Matthew Wiggins serves as Head of School at Calvary Christian Academy and brings 24 years of school leadership experience, along with 10 years in the classroom as a teacher and director. He holds a Head of School certification from ACSI and has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning Leadership. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.).
As Head of School, Matthew provides strategic leadership for Calvary Christian Academy’s mission and direction. He leads with a clear sense of calling, a commitment to excellence, and a steady focus on spiritual formation. His aim is to equip staff and students to think deeply, lead faithfully, and serve boldly, developing Christ-centered leaders prepared to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Secondary Principal
Eliza Dowdy
Preschool Principal
Eliza Dowdy serves as Preschool Principal at Calvary Christian Academy and is currently in her third year at CCA. She brings extensive experience in early childhood education, including work with children from infancy through early elementary years, as well as administrative leadership experience.
Eliza is passionate about partnering with families during the earliest stages of a child’s education. “My calling in Christian education is rooted in cultivating a Christ centered experience for families, where the whole child is developed.” She and her husband have been married for twelve years, and they have three children who attend CCA.
Amber Tague, ED.D.
Secondary Assistant Principal
Amber Tague serves as Secondary Assistant Principal at Calvary Christian Academy and is in her fifth year at CCA. Prior to joining CCA, she spent 11 years in education, teaching across a wide range of grade levels and subjects, including both upper elementary and secondary courses.
Amber describes her path into Christian education as one shaped by God’s direction. “My calling in Christian education is to prepare the next generation to thrive in a world that often does not recognize God, yet deeply needs His truth, love, and redemption.” Amber does not have children of her own at CCA, but she has three nieces and nephews who attend, with another expected to join. Outside of her role at CCA, Amber enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd, Charlie, and her cat, Leo.
Arielle Bickley
Elementary Principal
Arielle Bickley serves as Elementary Principal at Calvary Christian Academy and is in her sixth year of service at CCA. Over the years, she has served in multiple roles at CCA, including second grade teacher, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Assistant Principal. Prior to CCA, Arielle taught kindergarten through third grade in Martin and Palm Beach Counties.
Arielle views education as a responsibility that extends far beyond academics. “Teaching is not simply the transfer of knowledge, but the stewardship of influence, and with that comes a sacred responsibility.” Her husband serves as a principal in a local public school, and they have two children who attend CCA.
